| Mastenbroek
Ltd, the British trencher manufacturer has recently extended
the digging depth capacity of its trenchers. Incorporating
the patented Trenchmix® technology developed with the
French contracting company Soletanche Bachey, a trencher
has been extended to dig 10m (33 feet). This machine intended
for the ground works and soil stabilisation market is owned
by British company Popes (Hightown) Ltd. |

The
Trenchmix process utilises new technology to allow
in situ soil mixing and ground stabilisation. The
trencher is specifically modified to break up and
mix the soil rather than excavate it. This allows
for the incorporation of a binder material to be
mixed in situ with the existing soil, forming a
continuous wall.
